Even though I’ve technically been on vacation all summer long, I’m heading out of town for a little break from everything. I wish I could say I was escaping the heat of the Arizona desert, but I’m simply trading in dry heat for the humid heat of Indiana. Hot weather aside, I’m looking forward to seeing family, being surrounded by green trees, and slowing down in a small town.
Due to my little escape, my blogging schedule will be a little different. There won’t be much time to write, so I will instead focus on posting shots for the photography challenge I’ve been working on all summer. I’ll be in a new environment and I suspect this will bring loads of inspiration for me and my camera! In addition, I’ll be taking pictures of anything that catches my eye. Stay tuned!
I will do my best to keep up with comments and read the blogs I follow, but I may fall behind a bit. Even though I’m not very good at it, I’m hoping to find a little time to relax on this trip!
Meanwhile, I can’t wait to hear the leaves rustle . . .

c.b.w. 2012

You’ll have a lovely time! Enjoy every minute of it and come back inspired!
So far, its been wonderful!
Enjoy your trip, relax, and take care of yourself! Above all, stay cool!
The weather is pretty brutal, but the A/C is working fine!
Enjoy yourself and have fun. Tell Pops all your blog readers say hello.
Will do! Thanks!
Have a wonderful relaxing trip and don’t worry about is poor bloggers left behind.
Just kidding! Have fun!
I’m hoping to have a little time late at night (when everyone is asleep) to hop online. Being an insomniac has its benefits!
Have fun on your trip.
I want an at home vacation. I’d love it if the family went away and left me alone with my laptop. Is that bad?
Not at all! That’s pretty much been my summer and its been fantastic!
Enjoy your adventure!
Already am!
Sounds great! Looking forward to your photos.
The first batch of pics will be up Thursday morning. I got some pretty interesting shots on a little evening walk.
I hope you and your Muse enjoy your adventure. We all relax in different ways as I’m currently basking in the Arizona heat and loving it!
It seems the heat is everywhere! Instead of dry heat, I’m getting sticky heat. Either way, summer isn’t shy this year!
Have a wonderful break. Looking forward to your pictures.
Thanks! I can’t wait to play with my camera!
If you get rain in Indiana as well as your previously accumulated rain in Arizona I will be jealous to no end.
I saw four raindrops today, but that’s it.
Have a great trip. Love the photo.
I took that picture last year and have always liked it.
Hearing the trees rustle….love that sensory image. Have a great vacation!!
They rustled for me this evening.
I’m already feeling calmer.
Have a great trip!
Thanks!
Have a lovely time and don’t give us one thought. How nice would a blogging vacation be?
Thanks!
I can’t disappear completely (I have waaaay too much fun here!), so its more of a semi-vacation!
Wishing you wonderful adventures and amusements for your muse.
She’s singing already . . .
Your title made me think of that old Jackson Five song! Can’t wait to see your photos.
Lol!
Stay tuned, some pics will go up on Thursday.
Odd, but you made me want to go and dig out R Dean Taylor’s ‘Indiana Wants Me’ on YouTube.
Nice!
Have a lovely time honey…chill
Xx
Thanks, I will.
Have a fabulous trip!
So far, its fantastic!
Have a great time! I look forward to your future photos.
It’s only been a few days and Indiana is already inspiring!
One of my favorite sounds-rustling leaves. Kind of hard to hear that with Palo Verdes and Mesquites-their leaves are so tiny, out of necessity. Hope you have a relaxing trip!
The cicadas loud song makes the leaves hard to hear, too.
It’s been a fantastic and relaxing trip – just what I needed.
