Sunday Abroad: Prague at Sunset

Standard

Minutes before, rain poured

and choked the light

Falling streams halted

so the sun could breathe

The day bids adieu

in pink and orange hues

Special Note: This is the first post in a new series entitled Sunday Abroad. Each week I’ll showcase a photo  from my travels along with the words it inspires. While I’ll miss putting together posts for Sunday in London, I hope new places and inspiration will create a worthy successor.  Thanks always for reading!

    • That moment was just amazing and I’m so happy to have caught one part of it with a photograph. :-)

The poem is true! A huge rainstorm clobbered the city that day and stopped just long enough for the sunset to appear.
