This reminds me of how I used to lie on my back in a field, when I was a girl, and look at the sky and clouds. After a few minutes it was difficult not to feel as though I was falling into them.

I remember lying on my back on the grass or the pier when I was a little girl. The sky was always filled with so much wonder. I loved feeling surrounded by it.

I didn’t really think twice about them until I rescued a desert tortoise that was flipped over in the street. Ever since then, I’ve loved them.
He’s so cute! Reminds me of my Grandma who was always a glass-half-full kind of gal.
May we all find the bright side of things.
Too funny! I love turtles, too. There’s actually a Turtle Pond in Central Park where you can see them by the dozens, calmly swimming in circles. A favorite place to visit.
