Beautiful! Kinda creepy too!
I love the duality of cemeteries. They are creepy, but beautiful at the same time. Even though they are a place for the dead, life is everywhere.
I loved my trip to Ireland! Always wanted to go back-haven’t yet. Nice poem, too.
Hmmmm . . . maybe that’s something you can do with your newly free days!
HaHa!! I am loving the freedom, that’s for sure!! But, not enough clients/income, and I could only be taking the trip in my imagination.
beautiful shot. lines of poetry line up with gravestones!
Thanks!
Awesome
Thanks so much!
Fantastic!
Thanks!!
Some graveyards are so interesting. This one is no exception. Lovely.
Europe always amazes me with its old graveyards. They always have so much character and so much life. I love the beauty and irony of that.
Aloha C.B.,
A fellow blogger, (Melissa Maygrove) sent me a link to this post and I just wanted to say I loved the picture – and indeed have taken many of the same myself.
I was born and raised in Dublin, and many of these old, old graveyards have always interested me
Cheers!
So glad you could stop by.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the photograph – it’s one of my favorite.
Cheers!
Your words describe Ireland so well. So many stories are kept by the stones. Your beautiful photo takes me back there.
Its a shot that surprised me when I printed it out. On the screen it look uneven and odd, but once it blew up everything about it was what I had in mind when I took the shot. I guess you just never know!
I think you just described a perfect metaphor for many of our moments in life!
Beautiful image and verse!
Thank you so much!
There is something about old cemeteries….stories. Nice poem!
Thanks!
Cemeteries really are beautiful places and I love to visit them.
Beautiful perspective in this shot!
I tried this shot from so many different angles and this was the one I liked best.
