beautiful photo! You’ve just been all over the place, haven’t you.
The travel bug bit me when I was very young.
With summers off, I can’t resist taking off to some far flung place.
I love the imagery of the two worlds holding hands where they meet. Fantastic.
Thank you!
The meeting of the “blues” was something that immediately struck me while in the islands. I’ve never lost that fascination.
So I’ve always been amazed by Bora Bora and talked about wanting to visit but never got down to it (and the people around me do just the same!) You have actually been there!! I finally know someone who has been to Bora Bora!
It was one of the first trips I ever took and it was incredible. Even though I’m not a beach person, there is no denying the beauty and peace of such a place. I highly recommend getting there as soon as you can. It is not to be missed.
The words capture the photo. Nice!
Thanks!
Does this poem hint at all at the journey of the past week’s writing effort?
Hmmm . . . I don’t know. Maybe my subconscious is trying to tell me something. Lol!
Gorgeous water, grass huts, what a fabulous vacation that must have been!
It was gorgeous!!
The colour of the water is exquisite. Ah, to lie on the sand and feel its warmth on this grey rainy weekend.
I thought a little splash of a warm beach would be nice for the first day of fall. It’s getting cold in some places!
Cool enough here to have the heat on a few days already!
It’s still in the 90s here! I’m anxious for cooler weather to come my way!
It looks so peaceful!
It was so beautiful.
I loved how the water sounded as it lapped against the shore. The islands are surrounded by lagoons, so there are no huge waves.
Sounds perfect!
Paradise, indeed.
That beautiful image warms my Pirate heart, as do your wonderful words. Love your poetry!
Thanks!
I’ll bet your Pirate self would love to sail from one island to the next.
Each is more beautiful than the last.
Thanks, I love a late night swim and the water was so warm.
Beautiful photo , enhanced by the perfect words.
Thanks!
Your poem accurately describes this wonderful paradise!
