Under waves
silence waits
Diving rush
a blue hush
Weightless dream
floating free

The only edit I made to this photograph was a slight nudge to straighten the view, (it’s tough to take a picture underwater!). The water really is that blue and clear in French Polynesia. While I’ve never been much of a beach person, the beauty of the lagoons and coral reefs has never left my soul.

Beautiful!
Thanks!
A totally lovely post, and a beautiful contrast to the surprise snow lying outside my window. I would love to immerse myself in this blue.
I thought a little blue paradise might be nice for those buried in snow.
A really soothing photo. Thanks for sharing.
I took that shot hoping to capture the peace of the moment. Mission accomplished!
Thanks for stopping by!
Awesome! Made me think of one of my favourite films … «Le Grand Bleu»..
such a cool photo!
Thanks!
It’s amazing what you can do with a waterproof disposable camera!
Wow! That’s incredible! I went snorkeling in Indonesia once, and it was incredible how clear the water was and how much I could see! An amazing part of God’s creation that most people never even notice.
I’m one of the Ambassadors for this year’s A-Z Challenge, and I see you’re signed up to participate. Looking forward to seeing your posts in April!
It really was an incredible place, both under and above water.
Thanks for stopping by! I’m so excited to participate in the challenge. I wanted to do it last year, but life got in the way. This time, I’m ready to go!
A wonderful word and image pairing – breathtaking photo!
Thanks!
Very soothing! Lovely!
Thank you so much!
I love the verses you write with your photos. That photo is mesmerising! I haven’t been underwater ( slightly phobic, haha) but this makes me want to. I have heard French Polynesia is a beautiful place.
Thanks – I’m glad you enjoyed both words and image.
I have a phobia about going underwater, too, but snorkeling was a nice compromise between my fears and the beauty of the water.
I’m wondering… did you actually get your feet wet to take this photo? ha ha!
I did, indeed. Shocking isn’t it?
I love the color of clear ocean water. That was the thing that struck my when we were in Hawaii.
I couldn’t get over how clear it was! Just like blue glass.
