Wind chimes sing
with clanks and pings
Lofty gales caress
a soft, sweet message
The pendulum sways
every which way
A hymn of repose
releases all woes

Like the poem “…a hymn of repose…” At 3 a.m. my wind chimes were swaying in the night, but I didn’t stay awake to listen very long. LR

What a strange coincidence – the inspiration for this poem came from a very early morning encounter with my wind chimes. Sleep is an elusive creature for me, so I stayed awake and listened to the chimes. 🙂

Maybe you could get some small chimes and hang them by a window. 🙂 Even the little ones create a beautiful sound. I’m glad this poem brought back some nice memories for you. Thanks for reading. 🙂

Thanks – Part of the inspiration for this came from the sound of the wind outside. It’s great to know the “flow” aspect is working. 🙂
