Tagged Again!

Standard

Getting tagged once was fun, but twice is even more fun!  🙂  Many thanks to Jenna Cooper for including me in another round of 11 Questions.  Her blog is absolutely beautiful and one of my new favorites.  Give her a click!

1) Redvines or Twizzlers?

Twizzlers.  Providing there’s no chocolate available.

2) With your iPod/MP3 on shuffle, what’s the first song that comes up?

Make You Feel My Love – Adele

3) What’s your least favorite book you ever had to read for school?

The Adventures of Huckelberry Finn by Mark Twain.  It’s blasphemy, I know, but I couldn’t get through it to save my life, (and I still can’t).

4) You’re the producer for turning any one book into a movie, which do you choose?

Everything Matters by Ron Currie, Jr.

5) What’s your favorite youtube video?

The Simon’s Cat Channel as a whole, but TV Dinner is my absolute favorite.

6) Who did you look up to when you were thirteen years old?

My grandpa.  For as long as I can remember he’s shown me the value of kindness and patience.

7) Which food do you wish you could rid the planet of?

Bean sprouts.  They are so gross.

8) Why did you decide to start blogging?

After finishing my first novel, I found myself with a lot of extra time.  I still had the passion to write, so I created a blog as a way fill the void.  Since then, blogging has come to mean much more than that as it has given my muse a tremendous jolt and I’ve enjoyed meeting so many new and wonderful people.

9) Do you cry over books/movies/TV shows?

All the time.  Especially if an animal is involved.

10) What’s the one thing you believe in with all your heart?

I believe deeply in the importance being yourself.  The moment you try to be like everyone else is the moment you lose your voice.

11) Flowers or chocolate?

Chocolate.

  1. Hello! I couldn’t remember stopping by and saying hi, but now I am! I’m in your campaign group! Very excited to being and I look forward to your posts. I love your answers to these questions! Especially the importance of being yourself! Totally agree! 🙂

  2. This is great – I love your answers! 😀 I’ve been so wrapped up in editing (and editing and more editing!) that I almost forgot I have a blog. 😉 I’ll try to come up for some air and post my answers soon – you wrote some fun questions! Thanks for thinking of me!

  3. Alright, you’ve forced me to come clean. I don’t know enough people who blog to send this to 11 others. Most of your questions, I have no answer to. I don’t read like I used to, and even then I wanted to read other things, but something usually got put to the top of the list, and reading slid further down until I only read my emails (most of them, some I just skim and delete) and Facebook. I’m not a movie watcher who sees them several times and memorizes the scenes/lines. Plus, I’m woefully behind in movie watching anyway. I don’t know/follow most famous people, so I don’t know most of the actors. Books to movies, see above issues 🙂 We’ll leave my childhood on the shelf (though I did have a collection of Breyer horses). I don’t have a bucket list, I like pen over pencil (ok, that was an easy one), I don’t listen to music like I used to (my boyfriend doesn’t like the same kind of music I do, and I have yet to do an ipod thing-just got rid of most of my CD’s-I had quite a collection), and the place that I kind of gave up getting to see is the South Caribbean. Would love to do a tall ship cruise for about 2 weeks, but then I’d be afraid that I wouldn’t want to come home. Give me some time after May 25, and I may have found myself again by then, including answers to your questions.

I agree with your assessment of Huckeberry Finn – a very slooooow read, I never made it through either. I’ve been told it’s a classic but failing to see the “special”!
