Little plants grow up
From tiny pot to garden
Be brave and take root
– – –
Little bunnies wait
Nibble, nibble new spring leaves
Watch out! The gardener!
– – –
Red, yellow, purple
Petals flutter all day long
Closed at night, sleep tight

What a sweet post, in both photos and words. The bunny one reminded me of Peter Rabbit.

Beatrix Potter is one of my favorite writers and I love Peter Rabbit. Perhaps, that’s why I like to think he’s lurking in my garden. π

Something about growing plants brings on the joy! You must have a green thumb!

Its been a while since I’ve had a garden, so its nice to see my green thumb hasn’t lost its touch. π I don’t really know what I’m doing, but it seems things grow when I plant them.
There is so much joy in gardening. Every day I come home excited to see how the seedlings are doing and go about the business of watering and weeding. π

I love this!!! You’ve given me inspiration to get my flower pictures up that my husband has been nagging me about for months. Glad someone enjoyed the haiku prompts! You’re just a natural at everything you do, keep it up.

Good thing it’s a china bunny, or that pea plant would be history! Love the poems, and I’m glad to see that the garden is growing along.

Every day those babies get a little bigger. The second batch of sunflowers is growing like crazy. I’ll have to photograph them soon!

Exciting garden! Thanks for sharing the pics and the words. The flower looks fake-unreal color and symmetry. Like it was photoshopped or something. Perhaps I need to pay a little more attention to things.

All I did was boost the color a bit to bring out the details, (my shot was a bit out of focus!). π The rest is nature – these flowers are so bright in person!
