Haikus From My Garden

Standard

Little plants grow up
From tiny pot to garden
Be brave and take root

My little zucchini is growing fast!

– – –

Little bunnies wait
Nibble, nibble new spring leaves
Watch out! The gardener!

Two weeks ago this pea plant was barely an inch tall!

– – –

Red, yellow, purple
Petals flutter all day long
Closed at night, sleep tight

Such a bright little flower!

    • Its been a while since I’ve had a garden, so its nice to see my green thumb hasn’t lost its touch. πŸ˜‰ I don’t really know what I’m doing, but it seems things grow when I plant them.

There is so much joy in gardening. Every day I come home excited to see how the seedlings are doing and go about the business of watering and weeding. πŸ™‚

  1. I love this!!! You’ve given me inspiration to get my flower pictures up that my husband has been nagging me about for months. Glad someone enjoyed the haiku prompts! You’re just a natural at everything you do, keep it up.

    • This post would not exist without your wonderful prompts this week. Thank you for such wonderful inspiration. πŸ™‚

I can’t wait to see your pictures! Post them soon, (maybe with some of your fantastic poetry, too!).

  2. Exciting garden! Thanks for sharing the pics and the words. The flower looks fake-unreal color and symmetry. Like it was photoshopped or something. Perhaps I need to pay a little more attention to things.
