Ooo! I have a thing for ladybugs. I have ribbon with ladybugs, brads shaped like ladybugs, stickers and paper with ladybugs on them and even a stamp! Needless to say, I LOVE your journal page 🙂
When our daughter was about 2 or 3, we went to the beach and it was literally covered with thousands of ladybugs. She would not let us put her down on the sand because she was afraid to see so many of them. I must say, it was a little freaky. It’s something that’s never happened before or since. I still love them, though. 🙂
Reading this made me smile today! I’d love to have notebooks with this kind of covers, colourful and inspiring. At the moment my notebook has a simple black front cover with these words
“Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away.”
Only in hindsight can I recollect little moments in the past few months. Moments the at the time weren’t “big”, but I’m thinking I should have paid better attention … my wish is that I begin to notice all the little things-not to be bothered by them, but to notice them and let them go, or file them away.
And I guess it is all the distractions that keep us busy and lost and disconnected. We should have a class in high school to teach the kids how to “be”, how to notice, etc.
That’s so true. About everything–good and bad. It’s the little things that bug us and that inspire us. Love your art. 🙂

Thanks! 🙂
I tried to hold onto the good things so I don’t lose my mind over the bad. 😉

Our Christmas tree last year was full of ladybugs – hundreds of them! We set all of them free and I hope they bring us some luck!

Love the quote! I have that one in my quote journal. 🙂
Hmm . . . maybe that notebook of yours needs a little color. A little glue and printed paper goes a long way! 😉
