The photography challenge I joined continues to be an amazing source of creative inspiration. This week’s prompts drew me into the realm of experimentation in terms of perspective, color, and movement.
Prompt: Capture something from a different angle.
Prompt: Find something with primary colors.
Prompt: Take a photo of water.

Fantastic photos! The first looks like it could have been taken through a kaleidoscope. Is that your temperature/barometer thingy in the second picture? I have one just like it! I absolutely LOVE the water photo. You must have had the shutter on quick speed to capture that moment. 🙂

The first once was done through a large faceted hunk of glass I have sitting on my mantle. Wen I saw it, I couldn’t help but think “angles” so I went with it. 🙂
You’ve pinned the second shot! It is indeed a Galileo thermometer. I wondered how the colors would pop if I set it out in the sun and this shot was the result of my question.
I wish I knew how I caught that third shot. I played with so many settings, I lost track of what I did! Lol! 🙂

Very fun shots. I love the thermometer as your example of primary colors. The color just pops. The shooting thru the glass – very, very creative! And the water shot is again such an interesting contrast in texture. I look forward to the results of your next photo safari.

I loved how the third shot connected to the last challenge of texture. Its like they are connected!
I tried a number of different things for the color shot and the thermometer was the only one that really worked right from the start. Once I got it loaded on my computer, I knew it was “the” shot for the challenge!
Today, my camera is with me while I’m out and about. Who knows what we’ll find.
