Lovely! My daughter is sitting next to me and said, “I like that picture, Mom!” 🙂

Thank you. The picture definitely inspired the words (and so did the memory of walking through this lane). 🙂

I stumbled upon many of them during my London wanderings. This was one of the first I ever tread. 🙂

Great shot – did you enhance the reds or did it magically come out this way? : )

All I did was add a tinge of antique shading. The reds were vibrant in the original shot and they stayed strong even with a layer of “grime.” 🙂

Thanks! I tried to find this street during my last trip, but it remains a mystery I’ve only seen once. 🙂

Your words capture the mood and place! What a great photo…a place for exploring…what’s the shop at the end of the alley?

The shop at the end is The Body Shop (skin and hair care). A long time ago I worked at one, so part of the reason I took the shot from this angle was to capture part of that awning. 😉

Wonderful 🙂 So many stories can be written just by looking at this picture. What’s happening behind each window? Who is the person who stopped to take the photograph, and why? If we wait another moment, what might come down this narrow street? So many possibilities.
