Finding Freedom

Standard

I remember the day I knew what it was to be free. It was the same day I decided it didn’t matter what anyone else thought of me. So what if I’m weird and a little crazy? I like who I am and the direction I’m moving.

  1. You’re right, it really doesn’t matter what anyone thinks of our nature. When people tell me I’m a little strange, I usually say, “Really? Compared to who?” I think everyone’s a little strange, some are just better at hiding it. It just makes me laugh.

  2. Totally agree. I can tell you the complete difference I feel from last year to now (though I wouldn’t be able to articulate it completely). The freedom I have with my time gives me the chance to be more of who I am. At least that’s what I tell myself 🙂

  3. Funny how, the older we get, the more we realize what is most important in our lives and learn that worrying about what others think of us is now far lower on our list of priorities, giving us the freedom to do things we’ve always wanted to do. I love your quote and that you’ve become free, too. 🙂

I think you may have just inspired a new post for me! It’s a beautiful thing to feel free. Especially if that freedom is to be yourself in every way possible. Very beautiful thing!
