My muse is again wandering through different mediums and rhythms. Thanks to new book titles on an end cap and a drawing in my sketchpad, poetry abounds.
PoeticaI IV: Inspired by a romance novel end cap.
Haven gone
edge devoured
Hours destined
addicted twice
Honest regret
shades surrender

Random Haiku: Inspired by a piece of “art.”
The breeze catches me
I float between sun and stone
and land on the ground

Stay inspired!

Aw, thanks! My sketchpad has always been a place to goof around. Whenever I try to draw something with even an iota of seriousness it comes out looking weird. I think that’s why I prefer drawing with crayons! π

It looked like most of the books on that end cap were knock-offs of Fifty Shades of Gray! I was pretty amused by the vocabulary so I couldn’t help but play.

I’d follow your muse too if these are samples of the outcome! My muse is still growing, but getting louder and clearer as I give it/her/him the freedom to lead the way more often.
