Candid breach,
broken eye
Fractured pause,
tells no lie
Perfect fault,
truth’s disguise
This is an admittedly bad photograph taken from the London Eye, but it’s evidence of a memory that visits me often – a silent view of London at dusk. In many ways, this experience rooted my soul in a place that will always feel like home. Because this photograph is precious to me in this way, I did very little to alter it’s appearance aside from brightening the exposure level. Window blur and all, it is one of my favorite pictures of London.

No, my dear, it isn’t badly taken. In fact it seems to give the picture a feeling of age; something of the past. Looking at London through a glass… like looking back into the past…

I like both the perspective and the framing that you have shooting from “The Eye”. And I think it has an other-worldly feel with the shot thru the glass. Makes for a successful shot in my book!

Thanks. π I’m so glad that it seems to be translating to others and can have meaning beyond my own memories. It’s a special shot to me and I’m happy to have finally shared it.
