Shadows meet light,
where fate begins
The arches call,
cobbled paths warn
Wits be mindful,
for traps seek prey
Between the two,
the journey waits

Doors doorways and archways, just make you want to head on into the future don’t they. Eyeballs and elbows, lets head out.

“Wits be mindful, for traps seek prey” I can see how walking through this particular doorway could lead to a snatch-and-grab if one wasn’t wary. I love the shape of the stone archway. Beautiful! π

This was such an amazing place. With both Chinese and Arabic features, it was a perfect fusion of different aesthetics. In many ways, it was like walking through a world all its own.
