  1. ‘The Other Life’ reminds me of my times at the cottage, escaping the constant unnatural noise of the city. I love that the sweetness of your second poem came in the form of victory, not chocolate! The last poem fit the photo to a ‘T’. 🙂

    • The first one was inspired by returning home to Northern Wisconsin this summer. The woods are such a contrast to the big city.

      For the second, I wanted something a little obvious than sugar. Watching a soccer match in the morning gave me plenty to play with!
