30 Haikus in 30 Days: 29-30

Standard

What a month it has been! The 2014 November PAD Chapbook Challenge (via Poetic Asides) is officially over, but now a new challenge begins. The end-of-challenge competition involves whittling a collection of 30 poems down to 20 and organizing them into a chapbook.

My initial goal of completing 30 Haikus in 30 Days turned out to be easier than I anticipated – my muse was very inspired throughout November, (thank goodness!). When it was all said and done, I ended up with 45 haikus. Perhaps, the bigger challenge will be choosing only 20 to be part of the chapbook!
