Wow. So thought provoking. It would be interesting to photocopy some of the plain pages and put them away for a few months and then see what you come up with and compare. I wonder how many would be alike and how many different.
I did save some pages for the very reason you’ve outlined. At the same time it’s amazing how much mood, patience, and perspective can effect what is seen from each page. Even though every one of these poems came from the same book, I got everything from profound pieces like this to whimsical haikus. 🙂
