morning brings magic
to wooded paths
and open sidewalks
silence slowly fades
to steaming coffee cups
and chatty birds
dawn’s white sky
trickles through leaves
reflects on windows
until the blue of day
chases the clouds
and daily joggers
There in plain sight
a waking sun
sprinkles the shadows
with glittering light
