satin blue skies
golden birch leaves
the simple things

velvet petals
dewed with pearls
warm morning light

crystal drops cling
to ruby leaves
the smell of rain

silver stream
rushes opal banks
fresh white snow

  1. CB, it has been awhile, and my eyes captured the Monet and had to come and see what you’re doing these days. The haiku is lovely, and it fits Monet’s visual very well. Hope all is well with you, and that we can reconnect.

    • So glad to see you here again! Thank you for stopping by – it’s great to hear my little project is reaching far and wide. Monet is one of my favorite artists and his works often serve as inspiration. 🙂
