I love the sketch, too! This haiku holds a certain spring joy in it…beautiful, CB!
Thanks! Spring has definitely taken hold where I am and it’s very inspiring. 🙂
Isn’t it amazing to really take the time to watch birds fly; whether it is a sparrow zooming across the yard or a hawk catching the thermals. I love to watch them and your poem catches that feeling so well.
I’m always stunned by how they move so fluidly as a group. It’s beautiful! 🙂
Love your poem and this sketch is amazing. Didn’t know VG had done any bird sketches but I like this very much really captures the movement and spirit of the bird.
Thanks! I hadn’t seen this sketch, either! I happened across while perusing WikiArt.org. 🙂
