This one stands out, the scene and the haiku. I would love to visit the Village Store. I picture it like one of those small town stores we sometimes have here; with the things that have disappeared from big box stores and bring back memories of a simpler time.

I did go inside! Like many stores in small towns it was a mish mash of all sorts of things. It reminded me a dime store, (that’s what my grandma called them, anyway!) where you could by band aids and craft supplies all in the same store.
