summer in paris
black and white
memories made

I’m feeling both nostalgic and excited for things to come. Sixteen years ago I spent a couple of days in Paris and only experienced a very small portion of the city. There were parts of it I loved and parts of it I was too young and distracted to appreciate. Next summer, I’ll be returning to Paris and I fully intend on taking my time to explore and experience all it has to offer. Between meeting up with friends, attending a fandom convention, and seeing the sites, this is shaping up to be one incredible adventure!

  1. Awesome! I went to Paris for two weeks May/June, this year. I’m still riding high on the energy and sights, sounds, people, museums, churches, architecture, food, pastries. Mastered the Metro.
Definitely recommend a Paris Museum Pass – gets you to the front of the line. Also, for transportation (Metro and bus) get the Navigo Pass. Bring a copy of a photo – driver’s license or passport – to put on the pass. For me, my trip to Paris was life changing.

    • I’ll be traveling with some European friends so I’m hoping they’ll help me find some hidden gems. I’ve done the tourist thing already, so this time I’m looking for a local experience. I’m definitely looking into transportation options – it largely depends on what part of the city we’ll be staying in. Either way, I’m hoping for an amazing adventure.
