Awash in dew
fine mist rising
Polished slicks
flowing gutters
Spilled lies gather
toss them asunder
Truth endures
anxious to soar
Silence refused
the muse calls
There’s no escape
nor a need
But for a place
. . . to dream
c.b. 2011
Trust can breathe
in fate’s embrace
The way is clear
despite the fog
Broken wings
strive to fly
A steadfast soul
defies the storm
Such a will
refuses to fall
Truth calls out
resplendent, bold
Dreams see past
what cannot be
