The light dances,
where water plays
Ridiculed waves,
disrupt the flow
Cruel whiplash,
unexpected woe
Changes arise,
needed or not
Without movement,
the spirit stalls
Let water play,
dance with the light
Near Minocqua, Wisconsin

The empty, so frail
hollow with grief
Each breath, mere habit
a means to survive
Darkness looms
where absence begins
A choice, so bold
aches to be seen
The answer beckons
hand outstretched
Just one reach
unleashes the light
