I captured this moment from the window of a train! The pastoral beauty of Switzerland with it’s snow-capped mountains and cow-filled fields was beyond anything I could have imagined. Crisp, clean air reminded me how to breathe, while the blue in the sky is so deep you can’t help but daydream as the clouds pass by. This place is magical and I can’t wait to visit again someday.

The mountains surrounded everything and they were majestic, but the tiny little flowers caught my eye. The clouds whirled overhead and the wind pushed through the grass, letting the flowers dance. Such a lovely moment in a beautiful place.

It’s funny how we sometimes forget the places we’ve been, even when they are in our own backyards. Eleven years ago I went on a little day trip with my family to Sedona. It became a distant memory that practically disappeared until I found the pictures. A day of awe inspiring scenery, along wonderful memories of my mother and step-father came flooding back and reminded me of the love and beauty that fills my life. Never underestimate the joy that is right in front of you.
