Bright Blooms in the Garden: Part 1

Standard

Thanks to blue skies and plenty of sunshine, my garden has exploded with brightly colored flowers. Between the wildflower patch in the front yard and the sunflowers in the back, it’s like walking through a rainbow.

Within a week, many of my sunflowers grew two feet, (making them well over 6 feet in height). They are blooming above the fence and are producing seeds for the next generation.

In the front, a slew of baby coneflowers are attracting bees with their bright purple petals and orange centers.

  1. I like this idea. Hope you don’t think I’m copying (because I’m really not) but I’m planning to do a similar series on my blog. I love seeing plants/flowers close up. They take on a completely different, artistic, appearance. Will look forward to seeing your Pt2. πŸ™‚

Our season is so far behind yours. My coneflowers are still buds, and our peonies haven’t even formed buds. So, I love that you’re sharing your garden. πŸ™‚
