Give me a moment,
a place to read
Comfort and quiet,
a wise oak tree
Shade my weary heart,
beneath these green leaves
Draw a calming breath,
a crisp, cool reprieve
St. James Park, London

I wonder what it feels like to sit under that giant tree? Did you experience that?

One of the wonderful things about London is how easy it is to find an old, large tree to sit under. Almost every day, I spent part of my afternoon reading under a huge tree. 🙂

I seem to remember feeding ducks in St James Park when I was a toddler.

Wow! That tree is gorgeous! Reading beneath its branches would be a wonderful place to ‘Draw a calming breath’. Perfect! 🙂

The trees in London never cease to amaze me. I live in a place where trees are thin an spindly, so to see a giant like this is so awe inspiring. 🙂
