My muse has been curious and experimental lately. The butterfly stamp belonged to my grandmother, so it is very special to me. I wrote the poem long before considering the stamp and the two just came together like magic. 🙂
Thank you so much, Hannah. I’ve been experimenting of late and this is one of the results. I know it’s really different in terms of subject matter and layout, but it was fun to try something new. I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
Love, love, love it! I just think it’s so magical. It’s art, it’s poetry, it’s the best of both worlds. It makes me want to have cool stamps and try this out. I have the ink pad. I should. Thank you for the inspiration!
The best part is you only need one ink pad – black! I love how its about shape and silhouette as well as words. Both come to fruition separately yet somehow come together. 🙂
Wow. This is Awesome. I love how you did the butterflies and the poem is . . . I can’t think of a word.

Sometimes these work better than they do other times, if you see what I mean.

Sometimes I just have to experiment and dabble with new things. In some ways it works and in some it doesn’t. We’ll see how the next round goes!

Where can I find a page for this poem?

I’m not sure what you’re asking … can you please clarify?
I created this piece/poem using a torn out page from the novel “A Separate Peace”, a rubber stamp, and a black marker. 🙂
