At first glance, I knew. Don’t you just love how Paris haunts your memory? It does for me I think the way London does for you! Thank you for this post…GREAT!
If anyone would know the origin of this photograph it would be you!
Some of my best stories come from Paris. I may have to start sharing them! I met the most interesting people, ate daring food, and marveled at the architecture. It is a magical place.
Love the detail of the photo and the poem.
Thanks!
Can you believe a disposable camera grabbed that shot?? When I transferred the negatives to digital, I was shocked at the level of detail.
I just love all of the detail.
When I first walked under that arch I had no idea so much was hiding underneath! It’s one of those things that you’d never expect from looking at the exterior.
Your travels are awesome and the picture and poem are so detailed, splendid!
Thanks!
It’s been fun to revisit some of these places.
This is an awesome picture, and as I read in the comments that it was shot with a disposable camera, I’m in amazement! Your words certainly added to the experience … beautiful!
Thank you!
This was the trip where my good (film) camera broke, so I had to use several disposable cameras to chronicle my trip. The one I bought in Paris was hands down the best. It took beautiful pictures and it was least expensive of the bunch. Go figure!
I did not make it to the arch during my whirlwind three days in Paris. Your photo makes me sure that it will be on the list for the next visit. Love the detail!
It’s one of those things that seems “missable” in all the tour books, but in person it is just an incredible site!
Such fantastic textures. Great photo!
Thanks!
